Soulpepper's signature program Curtain Up is back this spring with a focus on the craft of playwriting. Transforming Your Stories is an intensive that explores each writer’s unique perspective and helps them to articulate it in an artful way.
Instructor Paula Wing will guide participants in learning:
- How to write compelling dialogue
- Creating complex characters
- Exploring your own experience through a fictional lens
- How to give and receive feedback

We are looking for participants for Soulpepper's Curtain Up program who:
- Are between the ages 14-17
- Are interested in exploring the performing arts in-person at Soulpepper Theatre with a small group
- Want to participate in hands-on workshops with Soulpepper Artist Educators
- Are interested in watching, creating and discussing theatre
- Will commit to all the dates and times listed below
No experience necessary!

Paula Wing is a playwright, translator and teacher born in Windsor and raised in Sarnia, ON.
SOULPEPPER 2020: Youth Writing Intensive and Creation Intensive Summer Programs, Writer's Room Workshop.
FOR SOULPEPPER: Accidental Death of an Anarchist, (2015) Playwright/Adaptor.
OTHER THEATRE: Risky Phil (Young Peoples Theatre); translation of Stefano Massini's Intractable Woman (Imago Theatre, Montréal and Play Company, New York City).
