Biography

Tim Dowler-Coltman is pleased to be making his Soulpepper Theatre debut. Most recently Tim performed in Orphans (Coal Mine Theatre) for which he received a Dora Mavor Moore nomination for outstanding performance. Other theatre credits include Skylight (Berkeley St Theatre/ Larry Moss) Macbeth, Sister Mary Ignatius, The Pillowman, A Christmas Carol (7 years) and Oliver! as the Artful Dodger (The Citadel Theatre).

Tim graduated from The National Theatre School of Canada in 2016, while at NTS he took part in productions with directors such as Total Liquidation (Jordan Tannahill), The Listening Room (Tanya Rintol), Orlando (Eda Holmes), Richard III (David Latham) and as the eponymous lead in Hamlet (Alisa Palmer).

Along with theatre he has also worked on short film productions such as The Depths 3D (Skyward Motion Pictures), Ashram 69 (Triple 7 Films), Dead End Drive (Loose Change Films/AMA) and Stitches (Joe Media Group). Tim will be joining The Canadian Film Centre in July as a member CBC Actors Conservatory.
