JUDITH JOHN
Judith John has held senior executive roles at prestigious arts and healthcare organizations including the ROM Foundation, SickKids Hospital, the United Way, and Harbourfront. She managed communications and promotion for major exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario and launched Harbourfront Centre's Power Plant gallery. For two decades, Judith led Acoustiguide, providing recorded tours for Canadian institutions such as the ROM, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and Expo 86. Her experience in health care led to her secondary career as a Patient Advocate, and she has helped train clinicians, developed programs, and spoken at conferences across North America and as far away as Doha, Qatar, where in 2019 she gave the keynote address at the first global conference about Patient Care. She is a writer, communications consultant, and executive coach, teaching and speaking internationally on public relations, communications, and marketing. Judith currently serves on several boards: Michener Institute at University Health Network, Toronto East Family Practice Network, and, previously, the Ontario Trillium Foundation, ABC Life Literacy Canada and Theatre 20.
