Ganesh Thava

Ganesh Thava is a Tamil-Canadian writer, director, actor, and producer. He trained at George Brown Theatre School and the Neighborhood Playhouse Theatre in New York and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from TMU. Initially pursuing a career in advertising, he transitioned to arts administration and education, working with the York Region Arts Council, Workman Arts, Ògo Tàwa, and various municipalities to facilitate creative entrepreneurship workshops for hundreds of artists. He has taken on producing roles at Driftwood Theatre and Theatre Gargantua and founded his own company, Pink Banana Theatre. Ganesh has developed multiple award-winning films and plays, marrying his business acumen with his passion for the arts.
