Soulpepper’s annual Queer Youth Cabaret is back! On June 20 and 21, eight selected artists will perform short original solo pieces (narrative-based, movement, music/song, drag, comedy, etc.) for live audiences. Leading up to the final showcase, they will receive mentorship and support from established queer artists and arts educators. In addition, each artist will receive a $500 honorarium for their participation in the program.
Queer Youth Cabaret is an opportunity for 2SLGBTQI+ artists in the early stages of their career to develop their work through a creation unit that includes dramaturgy and mentorship.
