ROXANA TAVANA
Roxana has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. During her career, she has led high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth businesses and worked directly with clients and institutions both domestically and internationally. She is currently Head of Manulife Investment Management Advisor Group and Manulife Private Wealth.
Prior to joining Manulife, Roxana was a Partner at an ultra-high-net-worth boutique firm in Toronto. Before that she held several senior executive roles in wealth and asset management at Scotiabank for close to 15 years.
She led Scotiatrust as President and CEO, as well as several other wealth and high-net-worth-focused businesses there, including Healthcare and Professional Banking, and was head of legal for Scotiabank’s Global Asset Management Business.
Roxana started her career as a securities lawyer at Davies, Ward, Phillips and Vineberg LLP. She obtained her Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and her law degree from the University of Western Ontario.
Roxana is a director of several not-for-profit organizations, including Food Allergy Canada and Soulpepper Theatre Company. She lives in Toronto with her husband and three young children.
