Imagine your classroom had a liquor license, your courses were all electives, and every teacher was certified cool. Welcome to Night School at Soulpepper Theatre: part community celebration, part adult education starter pack for the theatrically curious. Jump into the studio for any of the bite-sized, back-to-back workshops and discussions, or hang out in the atrium for drinks and apps (like grilled cheese sandwiches!). Night School is an open invitation to play and practice with some beloved Soulpepper artists in a light-hearted, low-pressure space. It’s a party and a study hall wrapped into one Friday night at the theatre and you’re invited.
Featuring:
Improv with Tony Ofori
‘Why does theatre matter?’: Joanna Falck in conversation with Nick Green
Theatre for Justice with Malika Daya
‘How are concerts developed?’: Raoul Bhaneja in conversation with Hailey Gillis
Movement with Rodney Diverlus
