Sonny Goldstein

Sonny has been in financial services since 1966 and in 1995, Sonny created “Goldstein Financial Consultants”, a completely independent financial planning practice. He is heard on his own radio spot titled “Managing Your Money with Sonny Goldstein” on CHIN radio.

He is active in his community and founded a registered charitable foundation “Care for Kids (Toronto)”, which raises money for children with life limiting illnesses such as those served by the Paediactric Active Care Team (PACT) at SickKids Hospital, Emily’s House, Chai Lifeline, Camp Aim and other similar charities. The Care for Kids (Toronto) foundation has raised over $1,600,000 to date.

Sonny is an avid sports fan, a former scuba diver and a golfer of some reputation. He is now married to Betty Rozendaal, a Naturopathic Doctor who has a thriving practice in Thornhill, and they both enjoy time spent with Sonny’s daughters, Shari and Rebecca, and their four grandchildren.

He is on the Board of his synagogue, Habonim and with his wife are also major donors with UJA and have created a charitable trust which supports TSO, Stratford Theatre, Soulpepper Theatre, Harold Green Jewish Theatre and allows them to give to other charities.
