Chess master Jennifer Shahade, author of Thinking Sideways and Chess Queens, joins Star Opinion Editor Jordan Himelfarb, author of his own book on chess, for an interactive conversation about strategy, decision-making and how to see the board differently when the obvious move fails. Drawing on chess, poker, gender and power, this event will invite audiences to think in moves, countermoves and possibilities — and to ask what changes when we stop looking for the right answer and start looking for the better move.
